Somewhere out there, a spreadsheet says we’re supposed to be rolling in gold coins like Scrooge McDuck. Spoiler alert: we’re not.

At Bigger Than Me, we believe in the power of karma and gratitude. We do not charge for our services because part of our mission is to remove blockers to civic engagement and help you take meaningful action.

But hey, if you’ve found value in what we do—if we’ve made your day a little easier, your voice a little louder, or your impact a little bigger—and you feel like tossing a little good karma our way, we do take tips! We’ll gratefully accept it (and probably do a happy dance).

No pressure, no guilt—just gratitude. Every little bit helps keep the lights on, the coffee pouring, and the action rolling. Together, we’re breaking barriers, building momentum, and keeping the good vibes flowing.

Why Are We For-Profit? Let Us Explain...

Once upon a time, in the not-so-distant past, a grumpy bill was stomping around Congress with the dramatically ominous title: “Stop Terror-Financing and Tax Evasion Act.” (Dun dun dunnn!)

While the bill had very serious intentions, it cast a wide and messy net that could have tangled up a lot of well-meaning nonprofits in bureaucratic red tape.

We weren’t about to let a grumpy bill disrupt our mission. So, we made the practical choice: we became an LLC—a structure that’s easy, friendly, and most importantly, disruption-proof. It let us focus on empowering people, removing blockers, sparking action, and making an impact, without worrying about a surprise plot twist from legislation.

At the end of the day, we may be "technically for-profit," but our hearts—and our mission—are all about making the world a little better, one step at a time.
